She graduated in singing class of Prof. Antonio Marceno at Music Conservatory A.Scontrino in İtaly.
She is specialized with Leyla Gencer, Shirley Verret, Donella del Monaco, Anita Cerquetti, Michael Aspinall, Ines Salazar .Her early awards included winning the international competitions as Tonino Pardo, A.Trombone, Citta'di Alcamo, Citta'di Balestrate, Giuseppe di Stefano, İstanbul Siemens vocal competition ,Citta' di Selinunte between 1996 and 1999.
İn 1999, she made her first debut in G.Puccini’s Suor Angelica opera (Suor Angelica role) with the open air opera festival City of Narni(Roma).
Her first performance in Turkey was with the State Theatre of Ankara as the role of Liu in the Puccini’s Turandot in 2000.
She performed Andrea Lucchesi`s music with the Passacaglia Association in the city of Gornate – Olana. She collaborated and made various concerts for the major music fondations and associations as Ester Mazzoleni, Amici della Musica Palermo, Music Association Kaleidos.

She is invited to take concerts in the city of Varese (Milan) and collaborate with Carlo Moretti and Federico Ceriani.
In different Turkish State Theaters she performed Liu in Turandot (G.Puccini), Nedda in Pagliacci(R.Leoncavallo),Ayse in Alibaba ve Kırk Haramiler(Selman Ada), Frasquita in Carmen (G.Bizet), IV.Murat(Okan Demiriş), Rosina in Barbiere di Siviglia (G. Rossini) , Tosca , the role of Foreign princess in Rusalka (Dvorak), İn 2009 she is invited as soloist in the international Galatina Music Festival city of Lecce together with the famous artists such as pianist Aldo Ciccolini.İn the same year she hold concerts organized by Dolomiti Music Association in İtaly. İn 2010-2011-2012 season she has estabilished herself as Tosca in Antalya State Theatre. After her partecipation to the Eskisehir İnternational Music Festival as the soloist in Stabat Mater –Rossini together with italian mezzo soprano Silvia Regazzo in the same season of 2011-2012-2013 ,She has been the first Turkish singer to perform in her country as first Medea (Cherubini) and continued her numerous performances on the same role in the Antalya State Theatre.
İn 2011 Kuru is awarded as artist of year by İstanbul Europe Lions Club for her performance in Tosca and in 2012 she is nominated singer of the year by İstanbul Cıragan Lions Club with her performance in Medea.
Among the many famous conductors and artists she has worked with are Antonello Allemandi,Federico Ceriani,Stefano Mazzoleni,Mariagrazia Lioy,Davide Antonio Rizzo,Sergio Mirabelli,Giancarlo Bini,Laura Palleschi,Andrea Certa,Armando Anselmi,Giuseppe Visconti,Salvatore Spano',Francesco Carotenuto,Revaz Javakhisvili,Borislav İvanov,Christian Deliso.
In 2011 she is invited to sing Lehar’s Merry Widow for the Festival İnternazionale Opera Estate organized by International Chamber Ensemble Orchestra under the direction of Santa Cecilia famous director Francesco Carotenuto.in 2012 She continued her collaboration with main symphonic orchestras such as Antalya State Symphony orchestra and Eskisehir Symphony Orchestra directed by Christian Deliso in Italian composers night gala concert.
2012-2013 season she made her debut in the role of Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana –Mascagni) in Giorgia, Kutaisi State Theater directed by Revaz Javakhisvili and after than continued to collaborate with Georgian theater in various concerts.
Kuru, also pays special attention to chamber and sacred music: she performed the recital as soloist in Music Festival ” Finestre sul Novecento” in Treviso with the sacred oratory of Sante Zanon ” Santa Caterina” and Rossini`s Stabat Mater in Palermo`s main church. She performed Stabat Mater of Rossini with Eskisehir Symphony orchestra.
After various Tosca performances she had her debut in Istanbul State Theater in the role of Zuleyha of Okan Demiris`s contemporary opera ” Yusuf and Zuleyha”
In 2014-2015 she had her debut in the role of Donna Elvira in Mozart`s Don Giovanni in Antalya State Theater. In the same season she performed the role of Musetta in Puccini`s La Boheme opera and musical production ” One night in Paris” created with Offenbach musics.
In 2016-2019 she gave her role debut as Hanna in The Merry Widow of Franz Lehar in Antalya State Theather.
On the concert platform her repertoire includes Stabat Mater and Salve Regina (Pergolesi), Stabat Mater (Vivaldi), Requiem (Mozart), Stabat Mater (Rossini), Messa da Requiem (Verdi), Yunus Emre Oratory (Adnan Saygun), Vier letzte lieder ( Strauss), Das Lied von der Erde (Mahler) and the Wesendonck-Lieder (Wagner).
